  • Closed Cup Flash Point Meter: In this design, the sample is contained in a sealed vessel, minimizing vapor loss. The closed cup method typically records lower flash point temperatures, providing a more conservative measure of flammability risk. Commonly used closed cup testers include the Tag Closed Cup and Abel Closed Cup.
